Our client is one of the larger motor vehicle distributors in the South Pacific region, boasting a selection of world-recognised franchises covering the passenger vehicle, light commercial, heavy commercial, equipment, marine and machinery product lines. In addition to its retail services, our client also operates parts, service, tyre and panel divisions, as well as a host of other enterprises.
Based in one of their Port Vila sites, our client is looking to appoint a Fixed Operations Manager to oversee the service and parts operations of their two local dealerships, which have 4 major franchises. The position reports directly to the General Manager and your major accountabilities will include:
– Responsibility for all financial outcomes and increasing profitability and market share in the region.
– Achieving and exceeding all major budget targets.
– Leading, developing and inspiring staff, including change management, team building & training.
– Ability to stay across a very broad range of issues.
– Identifying new business initiatives and developing business opportunities.
– Maximising customer service, satisfaction and promoting the company professionally in the community.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you be able to demonstrate previous experience in a management capacity, preferably in a major-franchise dealership, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will be offered a remuneration package consisting of a retainer, plus allowances, performance incentives, vehicle, accommodation, insurances, club membership, return flights, superannuation, annual leave and various other inclusions.
