Job Description:

Our client operates a leading construction company, with projects spread throughout Queensland and Papua New Guinea. Operating since 1990, they have completed more than 550 projects covering a diverse range of sectors including health, residential apartments, commercial centres, dealerships, public and private schools, equipment warehouses, libraries, community centres and much more! Based in Port Moresby, they are looking for a suitably experienced Fleet Manager, to supervise the maintenance of their fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment, ensuring that a high level of availability is achieved.

In this role you will supervise both the workshop activities, which consists of a small team, as well as the management of small team of machine operators employed within the company. Prior experience dealing with a mixed fleet of vehicles, which also includes large and small construction and earthmoving equipment is essential. This is a challenging role, where you will deal with a wide variety of machine and staff issues, across various sites and platforms.
