Receptionist / Administration Assistant (AC5136)

Job Description:

Based in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, this privately owned dealership is looking to appoint an individual to the position of Receptionist, which will see you meeting and greeting visitors to the dealership, as well as managing the incoming calls, and a range of basic administrative duties. A key position in any organisation, the ideal candidate must be presentable, have an excellent phone manner, able to prioritise their own work flow and juggle simultaneous tasks. Above all else, you must be friendly, honest, diligent and team focused.

The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate all of the above and more, with experience from within the automotive, or a related sector. Standard hours for this role are from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, with a daily 30 minute lunch break. Primary tasks and responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Managing the PABX switchboard system and distributing calls politely and correctly
  • Distribution of internal mail
  • IT security backups
  • Collection of company mail and banking
  • Maintaining and replenishing stationary as required
  • Document preparation for all departments as required
  • Petty Cash management
  • Typing vehicle quotations.
