Fleet Sales Manager (AC5404)

Job Description:

A rare opportunity has arisen for the position of Fleet Sales Manager with a long established, high volume, multi-franchise dealership based in Mackay. This is a new role, with previous fleet activities being conducted on an ad hoc basis by the new car sales team. Initially the operation will be a one man band, but it is envisaged that with the mixture of franchises offered by the dealership and the large PMA they cover, it wont be long before additional staff are needed.

To be successful in your application you must have experience in either a similar role, or as a Sales Manager in a high volume retail environment. You will need to possess exceptionally good communication skills and be a team player. Above all else, you must show stability in your employment and be able to commit to this role for the long term. The following attributes are highly desired:

  • Be sales, customer and results orientated
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a proven track record in volume automotive sales
  • Demonstrate a history of successful dealings with corporate, FMO and fleet networks
  • Be highly organised, disciplined and able to contribute to the management team
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to maintain long term business relationships and
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a team ethos.

This role requires an individual who can self-manage their day and who enjoys developing strong business relationships. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high volume group, which is privately owned and has been trading for many years.

An attractive remuneration package comprised of a generous annual retainer of $80,000 plus vehicle and incentives will be discussed with the successful candidate.
