One of our major, multi-franchised clients is currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced automotive service specialists for this key role, which will see you working with a broad mix of major-franchise products. The dealership you will be joining has been in operation since 1935 and is a 3rd generation family company!
In this role, which reports to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the service operations of one workshop initially, which will then expand to also include the second workshop, once you are settled in. Both sites perform around 20+ RO’s per day, have a Service Advisor to support the Service Manager, and also employ a number of Master Qualified Technicians.
Whilst these sites are not busy by metropolitan standards, they require a no less diligent management approach, as customer retention and satisfaction are crucial to the continued and ongoing success of the department. The dealership uses the AutoIT system and can be flexible with the commencement date for the next Service Manager, as they do have suitable people covering for requirements of the position.
We know the previous Service Manager at the dealership and have received excellent feedback from him on the business. The only reason he moved on, was to return to his home town for family reasons. There COULD be potential for equity in the future, however this will be more fully explained during our initial discussions.
