Our client is a large Toyota Dealership located in Central Queensland who are looking for self-motivated technicians with Toyota experience. If you enjoy country life, fishing, camping and exploring the outdoors then this is the job for you!
Working closely with the Workshop Controller and team, you will be responsible for:
- Taking all necessary steps to diagnose and ensure the correct operation of vehicles sold under dealer warranty, including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty components
- Repairing the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
- Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to Service Manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
- Ordering parts needed as part of warranty service
- Providing guidance and training to Apprentice Service Technicians
- Maintaining an up to date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to dealer product range
- Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the delivery or return of all vehicles
The ideal candidate for this role will possess an extensive knowledge of vehicles (ideally Toyota), the ability to work proactively in an autonomous environment, high attention to detail with a good work ethic and the ability to contribute to building a positive team spirit. You will also need to have intermediate PC skills and hold a current and valid manual driver’s license (QLD).
