Are you a technician recently qualified or are you a qualified technician with experience?
A new automotive business is opening in the Lower North Shore of Sydney in early 2019 and are looking for qualified technicians to work in their state of the art brand new workshop.
Working closely with the Workshop Manager you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
- Taking all necessary steps to diagnose and ensure the correct operation of vehicles, including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty components
- Repairing the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
- Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to the Service Manager using in-house databases or reporting systems
- Ordering parts needed
- Maintaining an up to date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to dealer product range
- Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment
- Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the return of all vehicles
The ideal candidate will possess a formal Motor Mechanic Trade qualification, AIS/RTA Licence as well as a Refrigerant Handling Licence. You will possess an extensive knowledge of vehicles, proven diagnostic experience and have the ability to work proactively in an autonomous environment.
An attractive hourly rate will be offered to the successful candidate with additional ongoing training and career development.
